Our Verdict
Previous best bonus was 75,000 miles. That bonus was a bit easier to meet the requirements for as the spend requirement was less. One nice thing about this card and offer is that it doesn’t report to your personal report, so won’t count towards your 5/24 status. This will be added to the best business credit card bonuses.
Hat tip to DP
Looks like the bonus is back up to 80,000 miles, with the annual fee waived in the first year. Potentially a new best: https://cards.barclaycardus.com/banking/cards/aadvantage-aviator-world-elite-business-mastercard/
Looks dead
Is anyone having trouble having their last 30K bonus to post? My first 50K posted in the first statement, and I qualified for 6K spend as of the third month’s statement, but there was no additional 30K miles on that. CS has no additional insight.
I have the same issue here, put a few charges on the following month and waiting for the next statement to close, wondering if the 30k is a month behind before I start calling.
As a follow-up, the following statement just cut and showed the extra 30k, so seems like it was a statement behind in posting.
Good to know. I’m also waiting for the addtl 30K
I finished the $6k spend on my statement ending early december and the 30k miles did not post with that statement. I checked the barclays app and the 30k points are set to post with my early January statement so it seems to be one behind as mentioned below.
I applied while this was still good, but got a pending notice. I just called and was approved for $650 (shockingly low compared to other limits I have/have had). When I went to remind myself how to earn the bonus I noticed it’s now gone from their website. I wonder if I’ll even get any bonus now! what a waste of a hit and phone call if not 🙁
Jessica You should be able to transfer credit from any other Barclays card you have, personal or business. And yes, you’ll get the bonus that was available at the time of application.
No longer on the website!
Has this card been discontinued? Not showing on Barclay’s website and link above doesn’t work?
Seems to no longer exist. Bummer. I was going to apply on Nov. 1 when I go under 6/24.
Frank try calling. They have different offers then what’s available online.
Jc appears so. Thought originally it was a site glitch but over a week has passed and nothing. Guess it’s time to call RIP.
Is this card still inquiry-sensitive?
New card sensitive, but not inquiry sensitive. I was approved after recon with 9 inquiries in past 24 months on Transunion. I’m at 4/24 on card openings.
i have 800+ credit score and only applied for 1 other CC this year but still got application pending. I filed as solo proprietor and low business income though. Should i call or just wait in the mail for their response?
The Barclay’s eligibility language is so wishy washy.. You “agree that you may not be eligible’… at our “sole discretion”.. Wishy washy compared to amex language anyway, which is much more matter-of-fact. The interesting thing about the lifetime language though, is that the 24mos language is apparently now absent?
I last closed this card in Dec ’19 so I’m a few months short of 24, but without that figure in the terms then maybe there’s no point in waiting to roll the dice on it
If I apply for this one and get the bonus, will I still be able to get the bonus for the Aviator at a later time?
read the terms before app
