Our Verdict
This is obviously a huge offer, previous best deal was 60,000 points. This offer has a higher spend requirement, but still significantly better than normal. JetBlue award flight prices are linked to the cash price of a ticket, much like Southwest. If you have any questions about Barclays credit cards, read this post first. I definitely think this card/bonus is worth signing up for and will add this to our list of the best credit card bonuses. There is also a bonus of 100,000 points on the business card as well.
Is anybody else wondering wth they’re gonna do with all these jetblue miles now?! P2 and I got pers/biz each for a total of 4 and holy crap! We took our friends to Colombia and still have over 360k haha.
For people have received the 100k points – did you get the 2nd 50k quickly as the 1st 50k? I finished the $6k spending well before statment closes, but no bonus points on statement …
Still waiting for mine and it should have hit 2 months ago
Still waiting on mine here too. Finished the $6k total spend several weeks ago. Statement just closed and the 2nd 50k didn’t post. After meeting the 6k spend several weeks ago, I secure msg’d Barclays and asked if I have met the requirements to get the 2nd 50k pts and got a standard reply “you need to spend $6k total within 1st 12 billing cycles to receive 50k bonus pts blah blah blah”. Like they couldn’t check in their system to verify that my spending qualifies me for the 2nd 50k bonus…

The flight attendant denied my request for the application. Fuck you Barclays.

“Bonus. You have bonus? BONUS?!?”
Pro tip: If you ever need an in-flight CC application, if you are at the airport but flying another airline. Approach a FA at the airline’s gate and ask them. Super awkward, but I but have a two out of two success rate. However, I never tried this during COVID-19 times.
Chuck The JetBlue offers actually expired today.
Just adding a DP – P3 Business card took 8 days to go from pending to approved.
Applied today. Got pending. Will report what happens
Applied for pers and biz for p2 and I on Sat Jan 30th. Still pending. Application date is all that matters for the 100k offer right? How long are they taking to approve offers? Nothing yet…
P2 is going through the same issue, they actually sent out a direct mail reply mentioning they wanted some document verification to go further in the process. I definitely expect them to honor it, just based on the dates of Jan 6th application and jan 14th letter mailing.
I hope to remember to update with DP in the future (on that note, anyone know an easy way to reference comments I write within the site’s functionality? Sometimes I’m curious about if there are helpful replies. Obviously I could set up my own system to do this but I probably would only do that for more important issues.)
Can you update on this? They asked me to fax my id and ssc, I did that but nothing happened. Very unconfortable sending sensitive docs over fax and dont plan to do it again
Correct. Barclay (as generally any bank I dealt with) honors the offer as it was on the date of your application. In the past I had many DP when was approved months after the offer ended (especially for business cards when Barclay may want some documents) and never had a problem getting the promised bonus.
With this being said I always (a) keep the screenshots of my applications, and (b) as soon as I get the card I verify via SM that the correct bonus is attached to my account, and keep that confirmation… but people without my OCD probably do not do that and still are ok in 99.99% of the cases :)))
