Barclays is not currently accepting applications for the AAdvantage® Aviator® World Elite Business Mastercard®. According to communication received by AwardWallet this card will have applications paused indefinitely as they explore further enhancements.

You’ll never get it back. It’ll become an OG card. If it is a keeper CC (Rewards outweigh annual cost) than I would absolutely keep it.

I opened this card in June 2021 and met the minimum spend and forgot to use it for ~3 months while I was moving apartments. Barclay’s closed my account after just a few months of inactivity. I had to call AA last month when I remembered (yes lol it was 2+ years, funny how my mind works) and they were able to get me into my AA loyalty account and the agent implied that Barclay’s had been doing this to a lot of people so the reps were familiar with the process to recover accounts.
