Deal has ended, view more credit card bonuses by clicking here.

Update 8/3/22: Available again.

The Offer

Direct link to offer

  • Barclays is offering an increased bonus on the Wyndham Earner Business card: 65,000 points after you $2,000 in spend within 90 days and an additional 10,000 points after you make a purchase on an employee card

Card Details

  • Card earns
    • 8x points at Wyndham properties and on qualifying gas purchases
    • 5x points on marketing, advertising and utilities
    • 1x points on all other purchases
  • Annual fee of $95, not waived first year
  • Automatic Wyndham Diamond status
  • 10% discount on go free awards
  • Anniversary bonus of 15,00 points

Our Verdict

Unfortunately not as good as the 90,000 point bonus we saw last year. Because of that I’d recommend waiting for a bigger offer to return and won’t add this to our list of the best credit card bonuses.

The signup bonus didn’t post with the statement where I completed the spend. Has this happened to anyone else?

I’m missing my SUB from the statement where I made spend, and the following as well now. It’s completely missing and I made it in with quite some time to spare. I saw a post on /r/churning that someone else was having an issue as well. P2 also got the card a month after me so I’m waiting for hers to close to see if she too is missing the SUB.

They’re quite incompetent. I completed the requirements with plenty of time to spare in October. When the points didn’t post on my November statement, I messaged them to ask when they will be posting, and they confirmed that I’ve completed the requirements and that the points will post with my December statement. I’ve now received my December statement, still no bonus. I called them and at first the agent couldn’t even find the promotion, then she did, and proceeded to tell me the points will post 8-12 weeks after hitting the $2,000 spend. That could be this month or it could be next month. Very frustrating.

As long as they post within the fine print time, we’re good. I know it’s not ideal, but I’m not going out of my way to get eyes on my account. Since they are business cards, CFPB is useless here from my understanding. Good to know it’s a systematic issue, and not a personal one.

My SUB posted yesterday (12/20). I opened the card in September, met the spend in late October, and only got the spend-related points (2k and change) with the posting of my November statement. But once my December statement closed, the SUB posted.

Another question – Issuing additional employee card.. Is this additional employee card holder also getting the diamond status with Wyndham which can then be matched with Cesar’s separately from the original card?

Just applied, but was rejected immediately… I already have the older version of Wyndham credit card (personal)… Could this be why? I only applied for one credit card for the past 2 years… Also what I noticed is – I did not get any credit pull (I believe usually as soon as I applied a credit card, I used to get an email from Experian or discover or other service that a credit inquiry has been received almost immediately.

How long does it take Barclays to post the anniversary bonus after they bill the annual fee? Is it possible to get the bonus and cancel without paying the fee?
