Worked for me today. Did a purchase a few hours ago, it’s already showing as Verified and the bonus is showing as pending.
Does befrugle track purchases well? I am thinking of making a big purchase, I googled and it seemed befrugle was offering the highest cash back for that store (5% vs 2% through other portals). However if it often has issue tracking then I think it would be safer to go with 2% portal that usually tracks for me.
I usually don’t have a problem with any of the c/b portals tracking (TCB/BeFru/Rak/Swag/etc) — I usually click the c/b link twice before making the purchase just to be safe.
Most people who have problems probably have their browser security settings up or using blockers — I use Chrome & Edge from my laptop and don’t have any blockers on those plus I’ve allowed “cross site tracking” and disabled “do not track” to allow tracking by websites (I also have Firefox installed with high security settings and blockers installed which I use for random browsing)
You could also install their browser plugin/addon to make it easier to track the purchase if you have issues with portals tracking.

Good to know, thank you. I have ads blocker on my Chrome but usually disable it temporarily when applying for bank accounts or purchasing through portals. I didn’t know how to allow “cross site tracking” and disable “do not track” to allow tracking by websites, I will look into it.
From my experience most times when I use browser on the computer is tracks, but I had problems using the phone app. When I use the Rakuten app on the phone to apply bank accounts before, the banner on top of the page during the whole application showed it was tracking, but it ended up not tracking at all

Jatan described with most portals. I’ve never had an offer not track when I made the purchase using an Incognito window in Chrome. That’s an extra step but worth it to give yourself the best chance of an order tracking.
Does using incognito window help with tracking? Somehow I thought it was bad for tracking so I rarely used it when applying for bank account or making purchase through portals
Yes, it is very good for tracking. It basically clears out any kind of extensions or anything else that could interfere with tracking occurring.
I started using an Incognito window when making purchases after the 1 time that BF did not track for me and haven’t had any issues since.
How does it work exactly? Open the portal site in Incognitive window and click the store link from there, or open the portal site in normal window and right click the store link and select “open in incognito”?
Here are the steps that I take.
#1. I open an Incognito window in Chrome.
#2. I login to the store’s site (ie Staples) in the Incognito window.
#3. I login to the portal (ie TCB) in the same Incognito window.
#4. I search for the store (ie Staples) in the portal and then am brought to the store’s site where I am already logged in due to step #2.
#5. I complete the purchase.
#6. The order eventually tracks to the portal.
BTW, it doesn’t hurt to do print screens throughout the process.
That’s kind of amazing because incognito stops some cookies. The best way is do the above with regular browser and clean cache. But I am not a computer expert.

I wonder if any of the various cashback portals are going to have better percentage rates or Bonuses on Friday?
Stay away. Multiple incidents of failed cash back tracking. So pervasive, it’s questionable. They think that the word of mouth isn’t going to spread and impact their business but it will!
Be frugal: spend $0 to save your $15.

Any easy play to trigger this buying a gift card?
I used it on the $19.99 Peacock offer, stacked with BeFrugal’s $4 off Peacock offer and Sam’s Club’s 30% Sam’s Cash back offer (see my comment in DoC’s Peacock post).
Giftcards.com has 4% cashback on BeFrugal and quite a few giftcards are currently available on the site for 10% off. Make sure you are spending at least $15 after accounting for the 10% discount. Stack with Chase Paypal 5% or Paypal Offer 5% if you have those.
Just don’t try to buy a Visa or Mastercard, those won’t work
