Signed up via referral. Very quick application but it went pending and emailed me a link about 15 minutes later to upload my driver’s license and a selfie (it told me to “open your mouth”…proof of humanity check I presume). It also made me attest that the beginning of the application that I lived in one of the eligible states (NY), so I’m not sure if its enforced beyond that initial check.
Funded with Citi DC for $9800 and it posted as pending. Promo code should get autofilled and shows up at the end of the application before final submission if you click through a referral link.

Looks like the limit is only $400 for the referrer per year, so 4 referrals. Still a good offer, especially with that credit card funding.
come on doc. dont tease us with a juicy easy bonus that also has 10k cc funding and not mark it as for only a few states. as other commentors have pointed out this one is state specific and not nationwide =(
$35 Early Account Closure fee for closing checking, savings or money market within 12 months of opening.

This is good to know. Given the rates/benefits, I don’t see a reason to close this early, especially with a CD.
10k CC funding is crazy work if you can get this to post as purchase
It posts as a purchase, or at least on the 2% CU card I used.
W Did they pull chex for you?
Yes. I can’t say if they’re sensitive or not though as it’s been a few years.
I once funded a bank with 10k CC and it was on 0% APR so I floated the balance for 13 months. Too bad this deal is restricted.
