A few credit unions in CA, TX & NV are offering a bonus of up to $1,000 on their business credit cards. Chase also has some increased bonuses on the Chase Freedom, Sapphire Reserve, Sapphire Preferred & Freedom Unlimited, unfortunately they are only offered in branch and not available to everybody. YMMV credit card offers seemed to be a common theme last week with American Express offering 35,000 points on the SPG personal card to some and a 50,000 point bonus for some from Stash hotel rewards (fingers crossed this targeted language isn’t actually enforced).
If you have a premium credit card that offers roadside assistance then print out one of these cards and put it in your wallet, it will come in handy if you ever need to use these benefits. We’ve also starting collecting and collating data points on what triggers the Bank of America premium $100 travel credit.
We added a host of new bank account bonuses last week. First Tennessee has a $300 business checking bonus for those in FL, TN, NC, SC, TX, VA, KeyBank also has a $300 bonus for those in NY, OH, CO, CT, PA, OR, WA & UT and Huntington Bank has a $150 savings bonus for those in OH, MI, IN, PA, KY, WV, IL & WI. The majority of the great deals last week were centered around Amazon, because of that we updated our complete guide to saving money on Amazon. There is a targeted offer for saving 20% on Amazon by using a single Membership Rewards point, you can get $5 free Amazon credit by signing up to Music Unlimited and American Express has sent out an offer for $50 back when you spend $99+ on Amazon Prime. Hertz is offering free president circle status & Starbucks bingo has returned.
