- Bestbuy.com is offering a bonus $15 Best Buy e-gift card when you buy $100 Apple gift card (physical or digital).
Our Verdict
Seems to be limited to doing this deal just once. Reports are that it might be unlimited in Best Buy stores. (There’s a similar deal at Target which begins on November 28th.)
There are lots of stacking options to add to this deal:
- AmEx Offer for $25 back on $250 spend, if you have other things to buy on Best Buy to meet the $250.
- 10% back on Best Buy with Chase Offer/BofA.
- Paypal Checkout 5% back (probably won’t stack with the AmEx Offer, but might stack with the Chase Offer).
- Gift cards are excluded from earning rewards on shopping portals so I assume that is not a stack.
- Let us know if we’re missing anything.
Is anyone seeing this on Best Buy’s site? I don’t see this deal at all 🙁

Not sure how to reach out to you with some information, so I figured I would comment here. But my friend called me in a panic this morning that he was shut down by Chase. He does not play the credit card game at all and has a Chase Freedom and a Chase Sapphire reserve and his wife has a Chase Freedom. He said he didn’t do anything shady or go anywhere or involved in any business so he had no idea what was going on. He got a shutdown email this morning. After calling them up for hours. Eventually he was told that it was a mistake and Chase sent out thousands of emails to people saying they were shut down by accident.

Although your friend might have been an attempted victim of a phishing email and he called instead of instead of clicking a dangerous link, although if he called a number inside the email, he could be a victim already.
Might be able to stack this with the $15 bonus Best Buy certificate reward targeted mailer promo where you have to spend $75 or more in app. They list a lot of exclusions and one of them is non gaming gift cards and Best Buy gift cards obviously but when I checked Best Buy and clicked on gaming gift cards category, they consider Apple as a gaming gift card. Today is the last day though. Going to give it a shot and report back what happens….

Is the $15 bestbuy card an actual gift card or is it some type of gift card credit code that expires?

Looks like you can buy two per day online. Select one for digital delivery and one for pick-up. The next day it will let you do it again.
Has this started yet? I don’t see the offer when I visit BB. In contrast, the Target deal wasn’t supposed to start until 11/28, but it’s live right now.

Target also has theirs up. Same deal if you value their gift card as opposed to Best Buy. Good way to combo it if you have a target circle bonus to hit.
I thought gift cards are excluded from counting towards spending for target circle bonus
