[Expired] Bilt Rent Day: 75%-150% Transfer Bonus To Virgin

Deal has ended, view more Bilt deals by clicking here.

The Offer

  • Bilt is offering another transfer bonus for Bilt rent day on August 1, 2023. This time a transfer bonus of up to 150% to Virgin. The bonus you receive depends on your status with Bilt:
    • Blue: 75% bonus
    • Silver: 100% bonus
    • Gold: 125% bonus
    • Platinum: 150% bonus

Our Verdict

Bonus is based on your status as of 8/1. Takes 96 hours after you make a transaction for your status to be updated. Definitely a better transfer bonus than we regularly see, even at the 75% base level. As always I only recommend transferring if you have an immediate need of the points as you never know when a devaluation will hit.

Now all we need is some Bilt points to transfer. They don’t make them easy to earn….

3x dining, 2x travel, 1x everything else (including rent) – what would make it easier?

That’s insane! Does this mean if I transfer 1000 points, I get 1750 miles?

Yes. If you have Plat status, you’ll get 2500 miles. But…. be careful if you transfer too many, I bet they’ll shut you down by doing that. Scammy Bilt only wants profitable customers.

They’ll shut you down instantly once you reach Platimun status. Super scammy.

Did you reach Platinum just by paying rent or did you MS as well? $8k+ rent payments definitely looks suspicious

Quite curious how many people actually have Bilt platinum status… I’m guessing they won’t be losing much on this promo.

Even if you are blue member (lowest status), 75% is INSANE. The maximum we saw from Amex and Chase was 40% to British Airways sometime last year.

Insane until you see the fuel surcharges on a redemption, now those are INSANE

Try booking any domestic Delta flight out of LAX using Virgin points. I don’t think any of those have fuel surcharges.

NYC to TYO (transfer @ MSP) one way on Mid feb is 46500 miles + $5.6 Tax using flying club (The $5.6 is certainly Insane amount of $$)
The same flight redeem using Delta miles is 84000 miles + $5.6
Pay cash on Delta website is $927 USD (main Cabin)

Recently I booked an Econ flight from ORD to TYO on ANA using 33610 miles + $250 USD Tax + fee
A round trip ticket from ORD to TYO on the same date and return a week after is $1753 USD on ANA web site and if you look at the breakdown of fee , Tax+ surcharge and other fee is around $500 USD for a return flight which mean one way is exactly what Virgin charge $250 USD.

Some people just has no idea what they are talking about…
