Our Verdict
This is animal free dairy milk, I don’t really understand the process but you can read about it here. I’d personally prefer to just an oat milk or something similar, but I guess this is exciting if you can eventually use the same process to make cheese or similar? Either way this is free so if you want to give it a try this is your best chance.
Hat tip to Bockrr
The link goes to aisle, but there is no bored cow on aisle web site.

This is disgusting. Drinking fresh, unpasteurized milk straight from the cow made me the man I am today. I hope none of you fools choose to drink this UNNATURAL liquid despite it being free
Nice satire.
I love to eat chemicals
inb4 a bored boomer named Billy or Bob comes here to warn us that Bored Cow is frankenfood
What’s funny is 10 mins later a Robert showed up to warn us. Appreciate the insights though
You’re too late.
We have been told to stay away from highly processed foods.
Is this an example of that?
If you’re looking for health advice on a personal finance blog, you’re in the completely wrong place.
Harsh
If anyone should respond in a post about “Bored Cow”, it’s definitely Bad Cow.
How is that harsh?
I work in public health and have a BS in nutrition, working on MS in personalized nutrition now. Nutritionally, it looks very similar to cow’s milk, with different ingredients to keep it vegan friendly.
That said, the poor nutrition content of ultra processed foods is related to them containing extra salt and sugar (overgeneralizing), which increase blood pressure and calorie intake/weight, respectively. Being ultra processed isn’t mutually exclusive with unhealthy foods. Peanut butter and hummus involve lots of processing, and are still healthy components of your diet if you choose to eat them.
If this were in stores near me, I’d try it.
Probably more information than you needed, but I rarely get the chance to use my education outside of work, and wanted to contribute here since otherwise my churning knowledge isn’t at the levels of many users (yet)
The science is actually not very conclusive that increased sodium intake actually does cause high blood pressure. Most people just pee it out. It’s theorized that a small percentage of people have a genetic condition where sodium causes high blood pressure, but it’s not necessarily most people (in fact some people have the opposite response where sodium causes low blood pressure)
Ok, but can you churn bored cow into butter?

Not a fan of Dipotassium Phosphate but otherwise seems reasonable. Free is free, I’m drinking.
