just checked it now – code works, but base fare is like 50% of the advertised price, so the discount ended up very minimal as the taxes and fees are still charged in full

Breeze is worse than Spirit because they have their “technology fee” which can be bypassed by literally buying tickets off a link which is valid for two hours on a random Tuesday. At least at most Spirit locations, you can buy tickets for a few hours every day.

Is it possible to bypass the counter and directly buy tickets off the link/QR code during that two hour window? Or do you still have to deal with a Breeze agent to do it?

Hate their website. Won’t let me check the final price without logging in. Won’t tell me what the breakdown of “base fare” vs total price is.

If the government hadn’t stopped it, Breeze would probably advertise $1 flights with $100 fees revealed after login
