Our Verdict
You can currently get a free whopper with promo code LUCKYWHOPPER. As far as I know none of these deals will stack with that promotion unfortunately.
I have the free kids meal offer on my account and it’s apparently usable multiple times since I’ve used it twice and still have it. I’ve been buying an 8 piece spicy nuggets for $1 and getting the kids meal for free. I think they’ve been giving me a small size drink instead of kid size, and I’ve been selecting the cup of ice cream instead of a toy and getting what appears to be the normal soft serve cup, which is $1.69 at my store (and pretty tasty). Only problem is, the two times I used this, I got charged a mystery nine cents in addition to the dollar for the nuggets (not itemized but included in the total). Anyone else see this?
I’ve had problems with that free whopper: on two separate accounts & devices, the online order page is blank after adding it to my cart, I cannot go to final check out. And when I chose the in-restaurant redemption instead, it said “MGR REQ”, which the store manager had no idea what to do with.
Nothing wrong with my account or app/device, because I was able to use the T-Mobile deal the same day just fine.
EDIT: I now see in the previous DoC post a comment that the behavior I’m seeing indicates it’s a non-participating location.
It means the location isn’t participating.

I just did it online, so the manager doesn’t just comp the meal and hopefully BK Corp actually pays the restaurant.
I think it was for the free whopper last week with a code Luckywhopper. I got the offer on my account and when I went to the restaurant to redeem it they said in order to get a free burger I had to make a purchase. The thing was I didn’t see anything in the fine print about this.
I’ve found with these national fast food discounts, if you don’t place an app order, it’s YMMV whether the franchise owners will arbitrarily deny it or make up terms like that.
I’ve eaten about 10 whoppers since the lucky whopper promo came out. Also been pairing it with the tropical smoothie free smoothie, it’s been nice
