Our Verdict

Keep in mind the business platinum is adding a $200 dell credit, we still don’t know exactly how it will work but that will becoming in February. It might make sense to add this offer to a business platinum card if you have it on that card and then wait for that $200 credit to come along, it might not stack but worth a try I think. We saw a similar deal last year as well. Keep in mind the same 10% offers are also available for Lowe’s & Staples but with much smaller caps.

Does anyone know if this offer requires that you go to dell.com/amex or is it possible to go thru some cashback site and make the purchase with the amex card (assuming you have already added the offer on the card beforehand).

Is the credit a one-use thing? or do I get 10% back on all my dell puchases?

it can be multiple purchases. i even got an email about it after my purchase.
“Thank you for using your Card at Dell, where you saved 10% on your recent business transaction with Amex Offers.

A statement credit will automatically be applied to your statement if your purchase meets the offer terms. Continue to use this offer through 06/30/19 or until $1,500 in statement credits is reached. See offer terms and exclusions below.”

None of my business and personal card has this offer. DO you know what could be the reason. Will it be added later on?

I wonder if they hit the redemption limit so quickly. Last time I added these offers in 4 cards over the span of 5 months and it was still available until November.

Thanks! you may be right but it seems strange to me not been targeted in any of my cards, not even for Lowes and staples 10% offer. I will keep an eye. Maybe they are targeting people on a daily basis.

I was offered 10% @ Dell today in 3 of my business cards. I was able to load on two of them. Thanks!

You may add it to your personal card. However, the offer terms say: “Only U.S.-issued American Express® Business Cards are eligible.” Not sure if it will work for personal cards.
