• Blue Federal Credit Union is offering a $300 bonus when you open a new checking account at their Superior Marketplace location and complete the following requirements:
  • Direct Deposit of $500 per month must be applied within 90 days of opening for reward to be issued
  • Enroll in eStatements

The Fine Print

• $300 new membership benefit eligible to members who have not held a Blue membership within the previous 12 months.
• Minimum $500 aggregate direct deposit per month must be credited to a checking account in the first 90 days of membership and accounts must be maintained in good standing through the qualifying period for benefit eligibility.
• Qualifying membership accounts will receive the $300 benefit in the calendar month following the 90th day of membership.
• Must be enrolled in e-statements.
• Member is responsible for any tax liability. Subject to change.
• Offers may not be combined with other, same product offers.
• Limit one bonus per social security number.
• All bank account bonuses are treated as income/interest and as such you have to pay taxes on them

Our Verdict

Obviously very location restricted and a similar $300 bonus was available in all of CO & WY recently. I doubt you can do the online credit card funding so maybe just wait for the online offer to return at $300.
