Update 4/13/22: Looks like Caesars is honoring status that was given and the changes are being delayed until the next membership year.

Update 3/15/22: People that have been successfully matched are now reporting that their diamond status has been clawed back and is no longer showing.
For a long time it has been possible to match status between Caesars and Wyndham due to the membership years being different. Caesars has now added the following verbiage to the status match page:
Please Note: You must have earned Tier Status with your current loyalty program in order for your status to be matched.  Caesars Rewards will not grant status to WR members who came into the WR program from a tier match promotion with other programs or who previously had recent Caesars Rewards status that was about to expire, and vice versa.
It looks like this verbiage is being enforced as a number of readers have requested the match and are yet to have received it. Some people also had the $100 celebration dinner credit added to their account and it has now been removed. It’s still a bit unclear if there is a delay on these matches or if this will be enforced for everybody.

My wife and I both have Wyndham Earners Business cards and Diamond status. I have been matched to Caesars Diamond for several years. She just got her card last year. Requested a status match for her on 01/17/23 and 02/01/23 and on mine on 02/01/23. Both still Gold.
My wife received her Caesars Diamond status today.
Same here. Wyndham Business Earner card holder. Requested on 2/1 and again on 2/10, upgraded from Gold to Diamond today.
Caesar rematched me to diamond with my Wyndham diamond. I don’t have Wyndham credit card.
Diamond no Wyndham credit card really? my housemate, w/o the WBE cc, requested a match with W diamond on 2/1, but is still gold at caesars today; any folks got matched to caesars diamond w/o WBE card?

Approved for Wyndham Biz on 11/11, Wyndham status updated to Diamond on 11/12. Created Caesars Rewards account on 11/12 and requested match on 11/12. Checked again today, 11/16, and saw Caesars status is now Diamond as well.
Were you Wyndham before? I was downgraded to gold and not upgraded back like others. I am not sure if I get the biz card, they will still consider the diamond was gained by match before, and refuse to match.
I was new to both Wyndham and Caesars.
has anyone had success recently with the celebration dinner from status match?
Tonight I had the petite filet, “medium-rare plus” at Giada’s. It tasted even better free. It was great.
Along with it, I also had 2 Heineken, added 2 scallops to the dish, and the Giada “bread.” Came to about $110 before the celebration dinner was applied.
I want to share that I matched to diamond from Wyndham earlier this year and was downgraded to gold before being reinstated to diamond like everyone else.
However, contrary to the various posts & articles about this requiring tier credits, I did not have Tier credits and didn’t have the offer shown on my account (app or website), but I was in Vegas anyway so decided to check and the rewards desk confirmed it was available.
I was able to get a seat at the bar at Nobu without reservation and reconfirmed with the barttender before redeeming for food and drinks.
Contacted support and they state they are still enforcing the requirements this year. I still have not received my Diamond status yet.
which support did you contact? Caesars or Wyndham

Update on celebration dinner:
Sent a form to Caesar’s Rewards support on 04/06.
Hello,
I am currently a diamond member. I was told I get a celebration dinner. Then I didn’t get it and I was told that, “it will load automatically in 10 days.” Then I waited 10 days. Then I was told that, “it will load automatically once you get the 100 Tier credits.” I got 134 Tier credits. Still no celebration dinner. Who do I have to call or who do I have to complain to, in order to have the celebration dinner loaded on to my account? Please respond.
Thank you,
Mudd
Just got reply:
Good Day Mudd,
Thank you for contacting Loyalty Support.
I apologize for the delay.
The Diamond Celebration Dinner will be available 5/19.
Have a wonderful day!
Thank you,

…………so we will see. I don’t even know if they did this just because of all my complaining!
Harcourt Fenton Mudd Mudd, which form did u use? mine has been in the same boat… more than 1 Rep said the system will auto add the credit but nothing is done after 1 momth. Thx
There was a form somewhere on the Caesar’s rewards website, in all the mess. I forget exactly where… But it’s the kind where they email you back and it has an “Incident #” reference number.
To continue my story…
I know you will never believe it, but the dinner never loaded. I went back to Cromwell on Sunday, and asked if they could see it and was told no. Only this time I came prepared. I printed out the response from Raymona (above) and had it in my pocket ready to go. I showed the rewards desk, who told me they see that I was told I would receive the dinner. They said they would need to call the rewards department, and that I would receive a call this week.
I just got a phone call from Cromwell that the rewards dinner is showing up in my account now. They confirmed that it was “just loaded” and that they can see it on their end. Funny thing is that in my online account – I still can’t see it. But at least I know it’s in there. It was real WORK to get this rewards dinner. I may use it somewhere other than Cromwell. I think the key to getting it is persistence, and nothing more.
I remember where it is. It is the “contact” link at the bottom of the account page when you are logged in. It’s in between About us and Careers:
