Our Verdict

They offered a $10 card for Gander outdoors recently as well. It’s not really a gift card, basically just $20 off in store with no minimum spend requirement. Can’t be used on everything, but can be used on most things.  How useful it is will depend on if you need anything from there (or can find a cheap gift) and how close it is. Here’s a store locator. You can also find a list of things sorted by cheapest to most expensive here. A lot of stuff under $20, so shouldn’t have too much trouble using it up in store. For stuff closer to $20 use this link.

Thanks! Was able to use the $20 giftcard x 2. A few days left to use this $10 giftcard, it doesn’t expire until tomorrow:

I just used the $20 camping world link at gander mountain. 4 transactions -wife and 2 kids. Camping world has much more limited hours compared to gander mountain. Total transaction cost can be less than $20.

Free propane would have been perfect for my immediate needs.

William Charles the link for the $10 Gander Outdoors gift card works again and presents me with a card valid until the same date (2018-09-23)

Funny story. I work as a security guard and I was at an overnight shift AT GANDER when I saw this post, and subsequently, the mention of the previous Gander deal. I figured I’d try the link just in case, and it went through. Didn’t have anything in particular I needed as far as outdoors/hunting gear goes, so I picked up a jar of salsa ($5.49) and hot sauce ($4.49) once the staff arrived before heading home 😛

William Charles Silly question, but how do you interpret the “one use only”? For example, can I buy twenty 99 cent items as long as I ring them up at the same time, or only one item? I am not used to B&M stores giving away free merchandise. I will gladly help them.

They must really want customers to offer something like this… reminds me of Sears SYW offers/points. But THANK YOU for posting! I am going to try this Sunday… if they are still honoring it by then!

I think they mean only one coupon per customer until the expiration. So a customer cannot use the same coupon the next day or later the same day. You should be able to purchase multiple 99 cent items under this interpretation.

Thanks. I just think they could have worded it better. Pretty sure they mean you can’t ring up a $5 item, walk out the door, and then come back in for your $15 remaining. But as long as you have the items placed on the counter all at once it should work. Free stuff… I’m game!

Used our “gift cards” on Saturday, 9/22. Got a bunch of random stuff for almost free because all 3 of us (SO, kid, & I) went over $20 by a couple bucks. No grief, other than trying to find useful things to buy. Thanks Will!

100 tent pegs for $0.60, regularly $0.66? About all you get 100 of for that price is toothpicks.
