The Offer
- Capital One is offering early access to taylor switch concert tickets starting 11/15/22.
Our Verdict
Looks like you’re limited to six tickets and that these go on sale after the pre sale? No idea how that will work in reality.
This will not go well. The Amex presale for the LV F1 race was a mess with “over promise and under deliver.”
I predict this will be be even worse.
Capital One Presale moved to 11/16 at 2pm local venue time.
William Charles “To better enable Ticketmaster’s systems to provide a smooth experience for cardholders and to address the historically unprecedented demand for tickets, the Capital One Cardholder Presale has been rescheduled to Wednesday, 11/16 at 2pm local venue time for all shows. This postponement will not impact ticket availability to Capital One cardholders.”
In other words ” we failed to setup our server scaling properly and the scalpers took our infrastructure to its knees, let’s try again tomorrow after our IT staff pulls an all nighter”
Jeebus Chris she added a bunch more dates everywhere. I just saw her documentary and Reputation stadium tour on Netflix. Even I want to go and rage with the girls.
I didn’t realize you were that young. You must be a puppy. 😊
I’m pretty old. Things are starting to sag, hair growing in places that didn’t before, hair disappearing from places where you want, things not working anymore, and things leaking.
Not a Swift fan, but quick reminder that scalpers are human garbage. Embarrassments to the human race. Please don’t contribute to the demise of live music.
Doesn’t Ticketmaster/Livenation do the same thing now?
It’s TS who cares lol
For the LoverFest tour that got cancelled, it was way way easier to get tickets during the Capital One presale than the regular presale, even with my “verified fan” status with Ticketmaster. I imagine it will be the same in this case.
This is helpful, thank you! Loverfest wasn’t coming near me so I didn’t try to get tickets, and Reputation wasn’t hard to get tickets for at all–I bought cheap seats a month before the show with no issue.
I don’t think there will be many good resale opportunities on these. All venues are stadiums.
Is Cap 1 still playing hard to get to get their cards…
For a while they were. I’ve had no problems in the last year being approved for a couple different cards along with P2. I do think they have eased their restrictions.
Even though this isn’t the Swiftie card, I applied for the Savor twice. 800+ cs. Twice rejected.
CS is really only one factor. I find not having a bunch of recently open cards or hard pulls on your credit report to be more of a factor.
Any deals on credit cards that come with ear plugs so that I do not have to listen to Taylor Swift singing about fake guy problems 24/7 on the radio?
Taylor “Nintendo” Switch
As a Swiftie and a churner it is actually amazing to me how many people are signing up for Capital One cards expressly to get access to presale tickets. But they are, so clearly it is working.
From what I understand, there are three different quantities of tickets—Ticketmaster verified fan presale, Capital One presale, regular sale. So for those people who don’t receive a code for verified fan presale, they still have the Capital One presale before tickets go on sale to the general public. Ticketmaster’s site was crashing on Tuesday because so many people were trying to sign up for verified fan presale, and they’ve added eight more shows since the original announcement… hoping that getting tickets isn’t a complete shitshow.
So how do you get in on the Ticketmaster verified presale since it sounds like that one will open before the cap1 presale..I’ve had a Ticketmaster account for years. Will I automatically be able to buy in the first presale then, or is there some special code you’ll need?
https://verifiedfan.ticketmaster.com/taylorswifttix you need to sign up here. If you are selected for verified fan presale you will get an email the night before they go on sale. Registration closes on Nov 9. Not everyone who registers will get a code, from what I understand–it’s randomly selected. If you have purchased merch from her website you are more likely to get one, and if you had tickets to Loverfest before it got canceled you get first priority for verified fan presale codes, from what I can tell.
