Capital One Readds Jetblue As Transfer Partner (5:3 Rate)

Capital One first added jetBlue as a transfer partner in May, 2019. The transfer rates were improved in 2020 before losing the ability all together in October 2021. You can now transfer Capital One miles to jetBlue at a confusing 5:3 ratio, meaning 2,000 Capital One miles = 1,200 jetBlue miles. The improved rate previously was 4:3 so this is a downgrade on that.

For most people this isn’t worth considering as Capital One transfers to some partners at a 2:1.5 rate.

On my Venture X (and possibly other cards) there is a 5k point bonus for your first transfer

Most of their airline transfer partners are 1:1. Not sure what the 2:1.5 is referring to.

Damn it jetblue – You and your stupid transfer ratios… It’s probably why Alaska and Southwest are out playing you. 😤

This is nasty. The ratio would need to be flipped for me to even consider this a positive addition.
