Our Verdict
These being worth doing will depend on your circumstances.
Hat tip to John R
9:52 PM CST, 3/18/25 – Just made an order from The Farmer’s Dog. I had an offer for $40 from C1S, I filled out the info for a friend’s dog, went to checkout and my total was $42 or something, if you wait on the page for a few minutes it’ll come up with a prompt saying “We’d love to help” and you can click on “I need a lower price”, it then gives you the option to change the meal size to 1/4, that brings the total down to $19.24 with free shipping. Also free treats! Should be a $20.76 MM
9:05PM CST, 3/26/25 – Glad I left the tab open, a new order was schedule to be placed, had by today at 11:59PM to change it. Postponed it until July, should receive the rewards from C1S by then.
just cashed out for an $800 home depot card, pretty sweet
I just received a targeted offer for Spot & Tango for $146.50, in the terms it now says: “Exclusions Apply:Only eligible for new customers. Consecutive 6 month active subscription and payment validation required. Not valid on free trials.”
Has anyone seen if this is new? Don’t want to deal with rewards getting clawed back.
I was on the checkout page when I saw it. My total was $28.95, so would’ve been a $117.55 moneymaker if it weren’t for the 6 month exclusion. Was planning to pay for a two week trial. Had CAP55 as a coupon code for 55% off, although CAP55 was not a coupon code available in C1S, but seems to be for Capital One.
Seems like they are wising up. The six month requirement ruins the deal.
i think its still a moneymaker just less of one
Not 100% sure on that. My $28.95 was after the 55% discount and that is every two weeks, so around $120 a month without the single time use discount. Not sure if they offer a discount on a whole 6 month period
i forget which doggie sub it was but you can program in that your dog is 2 pounds and it sleeps a lot and your sub will be much lower cost.
but yeah watch out for the 6 month reqs.
That’s actually kinda funny, I’ll have to keep an eye out if they ever change the requirements on the offer.
Got a clawback on Ollie today, I do have a screenshot of the coupon I used being in the Cap1 shopping drop down, so I’ll wait a few days then challenge it.
Anyone try the Talkroute offer? The offer I received is $225 for the basic plan, which is $19.99/mo, making this a $204 mm if I can cancel after the first month. Anyone know if that works?
talkroute tracked as ineligible for P1 and P2. could have been the free 7 day trial ?
Do you mean that you used the trial, or that you didn’t use it and that the offer was maybe only for the trial? The email they sent me does have the phrase “Start Free Trial”, but I was planning on signing up for the plan without using a trial…
I did not find a way to sign up without the 7 day trial. So, signed up with the trial.
I did the offer yesterday, and it tracked for me as ineligible as well. I didn’t do a trial, so I am a paid subscriber on the Basic plan.
I’m suspicious that some of these small venture backed startups like Talkroute and Spot & Tango are offering the high dollar offers through Cap1 to help their new subscriber numbers, with the intention of falsely reporting to Cap1 that sales weren’t actually made.
Talkroute not tracked after 2weeks for me
For the $191 Ollie offer, be careful to reschedule the second order.
They sent me a reminder email — mine would have been $243!
some of these, like AT&T for business, offer crazy amounts like $400, but the terms really dont tell you what it is you have to buy…
i have done a lot of these since learning about it 3 months ago and i am up to $1700, half out of pending and cashed.
have not had any problems with clawbacks or stuff not registering.
when it says “$xxx back” but doesnt say what you have to buy, it seems that it doesn’t matter; just buy something, and you will get the money.
Looks like OLLIEAMBASSADOR for 60% off was best Ollie coupon I could find.
The cheapest I can get the meal plan for Farmer’s Dog is $19, is there another way to make it more profitable?
Is is churnable? I have used the Ollie MM once and it still shows as the same offer. Can I use it once more by making another account?
seems greedy
This website is all about maximizing offers. I think OP has a genuine question.
i didnt dispute the question’s genuineness.
