Chase Adds Air Canada Aeroplan As 1:1 Transfer Partner, Waitlist For Credit Card (10k Additional Bonus)

Chase has added Air Canada’s Aeroplan loyalty program as a 1:1 transfer partner for the flexible point Chase Ultimate Rewards Program. Chase Ultimate Rewards points transfer to the following partners:

Chase Travel Partners (All Transfer 1:1)
Airlines
British Airways Executive ClubSingapore Airlines KrisFlyerVirgin Atlantic Flying Club
Flying Blue AIR FRANCE KLMSouthwest Airlines Rapid RewardsAer Lingus
United MileagePlusIberia PlusEmirates
Air Canada Aeroplan
Hotels
Hyatt Gold PassportMarriott Rewards
IHG Rewards Club

In addition Chase will be the exclusive card issuer for the Aeroplan co-branded credit cards. This card will launch later this year. Those interested in the card can join a waitlist now and get an additional 10,000 miles when the card launches upon approval (this is in addition to whatever bonus the card launches with). You might as well join that waitlist even if you have no to little interest in Aeroplan just in case we see an extremely attractive launch offer that changes your mind. Terms state you need to sign up for the waitlist before November 8, 2021 so I guess we will see the card launch after that.

Is there any rumor about the signup bonus Chase will offer for the Air Canada card? I kind of expect a letdown given that the TD signup bonuses aren’t that great. https://www.aircanada.com/ca/en/aco/home/aeroplan/credit-cards/td/personal.html#/

How can I get the extra 10K. I am not sure I want to apply for Aeroplan credit card. I want to see the offer? Can I put my name down on hold?

Can anyone chime in on the Aeroplan program? Is it anything like United’s, where they don’t have high surcharges, but does have high mileage requirements for premium class tickets on partner airlines.

By the time February 15, 2022 rolls around, I doubt most of us will remember signing up for this waitlist.

No restrictions? So they can be like the USA and have 36 million infections and 630K dead?
