[Expired] Chase Amazon Card 4% Gas and Other Offers [Sept., Oct. & Nov.]

This offer has expired, sign up for instant notifications to avoid missing any deals in the future.

The Chase Amazon card (our review) is sending out an email to many/all cardholders with various targeted offers for increased earnings during September, October, and November. There is one gas offer and various regular spend offers.

Gas Offer

Direct Link (check if you are eligible)

  • Get 4% back on gas purchases with your Chase Amazon card

The card normally earns 2% back and now they are adding an additional 2% for 4% total. Full list of Best Gas Cards here. You need to activate this offer at the above link.

Regular Spend Offer

  • Get 2% back everywhere
  • Get 1.5% back everywhere
  • Get 1.25% back everywhere

Standard earnings is 1% back everywhere, and this offer increases that to 2% or 1.5% or 1.25%. This offer is automatic if you got it, no enrollment necessary.

Even 2% is obviously not terribly exciting, but it’s been mentioned that this could make sense in some cases for international travelers since the card does not charge a foreign transaction fee.

I thought this card came out just a few months ago? (The Chase version)

Ummm, I think I’ve had my current (and second) Chase Amazon card since 2011. I think I got $20 and $25 off my first purchases with each card (the first one being closed, and Chase/Amazon didn’t enforce the one bonus per customer language in the terms.)

Surprisingly, it worked for me even though I haven’t used this card for years and I’ve never received the email with the offer.

Didn’t work for me. About $50 – $100 spend every month. Have had the card for many years. Same “we can’t enroll you” message.

No dice.

“We can’t enroll you with the information you provided. Please make sure you entered the primary cardmember’s last name exactly as it appears on the credit card.”

It can’t be based on usage, I’m murdering charges in this thing!

Worked for me. Maybe works only for those using the card?

Nope, not fair.
