Chase has filed two interesting trademarks for ‘Chase Freedom Rise’ & ‘Freedom Rise’. The last time we saw something like this was for the ‘Chase Ink Business Premier’ and then the card was launched a month later.
Based on the name I suspect this is either a basic starter credit card or a card for people with poor credit history. Chase discontinued the Chase Slate card in April 2020 and replaced it with the Chase Slate Edge July 2021 so it’s possible the Freedom Rise will completely replace that Slate branding.
I’m still hoping for Chase to come out with a card that gives 3x UR on gas and grocery purchases. I don’t see how they’d be content with not having a competitor to AMEX BCE/BCP.
Same. I’ve moved my spent to Amex/Citi because of this.
Our old grandfathered Chase Ink cards still get 3x UR on gas. Chase had 3x UR on gas for Ink cards for a long time and decided to get rid of it. I don’t think Chase is going to do permanent UR grocery multipliers (temporary promos only) since it’s obvious at this point that they have been specifically avoiding the grocery category. Most likely because it’s too universally easy to use and/or easy to manufacture spend on, which may be the same reason they got rid of gas stations.
Cash back on all gun purchase
If it’s for bad/limited credit, I wonder how long until the bad-credit lender Rise files a lawsuit…
sounds like an energy drink
Or the next wave of little blue pills targeted at the Proud Boys.
Think you mean red pill. Red pills are the ones that let you open your eyes to how reality really is. Blue pills you keep seeing the world how you want to see it.
I have noticed for the last several weeks that the card art for my Slate Edge is missing in the Chase app, showing instead a more generic card image. I wonder if it is due to a rebranding as a Freedom Rise?
Same. Has been there for the eight months I’ve had the card, save for the last month or so.
I think they asked GPTChat to spit out 50 “Chase _____ _____” terms to TM.
Chase Freedom Rise . . . of the Machines.
Maybe it’s 5% CB on viagra and cialis
