Our Verdict

This has been as high as 120,000 points in the past. Not really worth considering the IHG Premier card always has a better bonus (e.g we recently saw five free nights of up to 60,000 points per night).

  • InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort costs about 50k+/night ($450 cash). So it's about $900 worth if you travel to Vietnam ;)

    • When did you see it at 50K points a night. I haven't seen that rate for at least 1-2 years now. Only 70K+

  • The terms say:

Product not available to anyone who has a personal IHG credit card

Well, I have a legacy IHG Select card, no longer available for new applications, which gives me 10% back on all points redemptions, and I would to give that up to get any other personal IHG credit card, so it's a no-go for me until and unless they totally cancel the Select card.
