The Offer
- According to reddit user All_Day_8, Chase has extended their 70,000 Chase UR points after $5,000 in spend within three months of card approval on the Chase Ink Plus card. It’s not clear yet whether the annual fee of $95 is also waived (it was when the bonus was originally offered) and if the Chase Ink Cash card is also offering the $300 bonus or not.

Our Verdict
If you’ve applied for the online offer (60,000 points) you should be able to get matched with this higher offer (it’s possible but quite difficult to also get the annual fee waived if that is also part of this extension offer). Keep in mind we now think that the Chase Ink Plus falls under the Chase 5/24 rule, so most people won’t be eligible (please share your data points in that thread). Although one way to get around that is by asking for pre-qualified offers in branch. If you’re going into a Chase branch anyway, you might also want to consider pairing this with the $500 business checking & savings bonus (one of the best bank bonuses currently available).
Just went to Chase branch today. As of August 20, 2016 the Chase Ink Plus is offering 70K with first year annual fee waived and the Chase Ink Cash is offering $300 with no annual fee. Both offers only available in-branch.
Hmm, wonder if the offer expired on the 20th or if they just started a new offer going forward.

If I don’t own an official business, is it still possible to qualify? Any suggestions on how to best word the application…I rent a room in my house do you think that would work?
Yeah, that’s a business. But if the revenues/profits are low, it might be harder to get approved. YMMV.
I got the Ink+ in early May and slacked through getting the 70k match (actually I was waiting to do the spend first and realized that was a mistake). With extended in-branch offer, I quizzed local banker and she did confirm the summer promotion. She called in to see if they could match it for me. Heard back this morning that they would. First statement was ~$4k. That balance paid in past few days. Even though the second statement hasn’t cut, I do have over ~$1k additional spend posted.
No waiting. Even though second statement hasn’t cut and 60k UR haven’t been awarded yet, the extra 10k UR has already shown up in my account. 🙂

I already have chase ink (from OCT 2013) & Bold (from Apr 2014), can I apply for the 3 rd bold card? can I still get bonus? I called customer service they told me ” we need to run your credit to give you the answer whether you will be approved for 3 card….”

Sorry, unrelated but good place to ask. Do I have to carry a balance on the B of A BBR card to get the $25. Or all I have do is to make a purchase every cycle and pay more than the minimum (full balance)

You don’t have to carry a balance. So long as the statement closes with a balance it will work.
