Since January 1st, the Chase INK Plus and Preferred cards have added Office Supply as an eligible Pay Yourself Back category for the 1.25% redemption rate. This will be valid through March 31, 2022.
Old news here, but I realized we never covered it when they removed the Shipping category at the end of 2021 and put the Office Supply category instead. All available PYB categories on the INK Preferred card:
- Internet, cable, and phone services
- Advertising
- Select charities
- Office Supply
Office Supply is a category which is easy to use in bulk with a gift card purchase, and it might be useful to some, especially on the INK Plus card which anyway earns 5x there. Sapphire Reserve cards have the higher 1.5% redemption rate, but the categories there might not be easy for everyone to maximize.
Is this a tailored offering? I’m only seeing 2 categories: “Internet, cable and phone services” and “Select charities”.
Those are the categorizes for my Ink Cash too. The OS one is for Preferred and Cash Plus.
are there any stores that code as dining that sell gift cards
Lots of restaurants sell gift cards … for exclusive use at those restaurants.
Does it mean we can use UR points to pay for gift cards with 1.25% redemption rate, and earn 5x points back?
Yep
INFINITE UR POINTS
Very finite. Max 250,000 UR points per year per card @ 5X categories.
Smells like Amex RAT
but dude it’s…it’s like…chase and stuff
Stupid comment of the day award goes to ^
I actually used my PYB for the Reserve Annual Fee.
Does it pay 50% more or 1 UR = 1.5 towards Reserve Annual Fee.?
Yes it does (or did back in September at least)
Thanks! Will give it a try when my AF posts.
I was not able to use my PYB for annual fee. I was able to previously last year.
I got the offer “annual membership fee” 50% more points value valid through 03/31/22 but it’snot available to redeem. It has been posted.
It post for me on March 1st, 2022 and as of this date, it has been ‘posted’. I’ll wait a few more days and let see.
hope grocery will come back for the Reserve
Chase Ink Plus also (for those who still have it), which is even more useful due to 5x…
I’ll add that, thanks
I assume the same would be true for the Chase Ink Bold, if anyone still has it.
Chase Ink Bold doesn’t exist anymore. They converted them to Ink Plus.
