The Chase Sapphire Lounge at LGA has opened today and the JFK lounge will open next week. The LGA lounge is located in terminal B and is over 21,800 square feet. The JFK lounge is located in Terminal 4 post-security in the Mezzanine on Level 4 located above Gate A2. The access rules for these lounges are somewhat strange in that it is also accessible for Priority Pass members (once per year).
Do I need my priority pass to get in or can I use the actual sapphire reserve card like with the Amex lounges?

How would Chase limit other PPs to once per year? I assume the same individual can use multiple PPs to enter multiple times per year.
Priority Pass is the one who will invoice you for extra visits.
I can confirm it’s one visit per non-Chase Priority Pass. I went once with Venture X and once with AMEX Plat to the excellent BOS lounge in 2023
Also note Priority Pass notes the once per year non-Chase limit is aggregate across all Sapphire lounges, not per location.
Might keep my reserve card. Have 3 flights out of LGA/JFK this year
one less reason to keep my amex platinum. probably will cancel next month unless i get a money making retention offer.
