Our Verdict
A while back there was an offer for five free nights which some might prefer. In any case, I think a lot of people will find this $150 cash + 100,000 points interesting.
Someone seeking a fully cash bonus can, I suppose, hold the points for a year and then downgrade to the Bold and then cashout most of the points for a $750 statement credit to offset airline and Marriott purchases; the Bold card has a PYB feature. (Tangentially, that card has a direct signup bonus of 60,000 points + a free night, and has no annual fee.)
We’ll add this to our list of Best Current Credit Card Signup Bonuses.
The terms need to be updated. New terms say you can’t get the Boundless card at all if you currently have the annual-fee-free Bold card.
Terms as listed here aren’t accurate. My husband has the Bonvoy Business Amex Card and according to the terms listed here wouldn’t be eligible. But looking at the terms on the offer site shows that he is eligible. Would be worth revising.
Does anyone know if I am an AU holding a bonvoy premier does that count towards non eligibility for this product?
Approved this morning. I was looking for a good offer on a Marriott card. Thanks for the tip!
Referred P3 (Approved) for above offer along with 40k points for me
Need to update the eligibility details – bonus not available if previously gotten bonus for the Chase Bold or AMEX Bevy cards within 24 months
Offer seems good, especially as it works through referral links too it seems. I have 9 HPs recently and opened two new cards from Chase in the last 14 days, so mu chances are zero for this, right?
Hard pulls aren’t the same as opening new lines of credit so you may be safe from the Chase 5/24 rule, however, two new cards from Chase in the last 14 days definitely violates the Chase 2/30 rule (2 applications within the last 30 days).
If you’re going after this offer, it isn’t unheard of with co-branded cards bypassing the thumb rules so you may have a chance. I’d personally wait until after the 30 day mark to try for it.
Any recent datapoints for applying while over 5/24?
Isn’t this worse than the 140k points offer from end of last year?
Isn’t this much worse than 140k points offer from end of 2024?
It’s a little worse, I don’t think it’s much worse. 40k points is worth about $280 vs. $150 statement credit. So it’s about $130 worse.
