Update: This 100,000 bonus was always marked as a ‘limited time offer’. It looks like it will expire on July 2nd according to advertisement seen by US Credit Card Guide. Marriott site says July 12th… Also keep in mind this possible rumor.

Our Verdict
We just posted an hour ago that this would be going live tomorrow, looks like it went live early. I’d be shocked if the 5/24 rule doesn’t apply to this card, as it did apply to the previous Premier version. You’ll notice that you’re not eligible if you currently hold the Marriott Premier card, current holders will be offered an upgrade offer here but that doesn’t currently seem to be live. It’s possible you might be able to apply for both cards today and get approved for both, but I suspect that won’t work (at least it shouldn’t according to the fine print).
We’ve seen 100,000 point bonuses on the Marriott Premier, so this isn’t a mind blowing deal by any means but could still be very useful to some readers.

DP:
Just tried to apply
5/24 applied: Yes
Kohl store card counted in 5/24: No
authorized user: counted in 5/24 initially, called in, ask if I’m responsible to the cards, said “no”, then the cards are removed.
How does holding The Ritz Carlton card affect this? There’s no mention of the RC card on the application. Is the RC card going anywhere? If so can I upgrade from the RC?
It doesn’t affect it currently. RC card is being upgraded, we don’t know how yet
I am not able to get Chase refer a friend to work? I got an email a week ago saying I could refer to the premier plus but that link is saying expired… any ideas how to get around this?
I want to apply a credit card from chase. Which card do you guys suggest to apply? this Marriott card or the New Chase World Of Hyatt Card?
Are you under 5/24? If so, neither. If you are then you can’t get the Premier Plus
Thanks. I only applied one card in the past several years.
I applied chase freedom and business 11 years ago and still have them. I applied freedom unlimited in 2017. That is all my chase cards. what other cards you suggest to apply now. Thanks.
Is the business card still exempt from 5/24?
just got approved…thanks for the reminder!

This post should also be part of the update – current update encourages people to apply without raising awareness about potential consequences of that application.
Good point, added.
Is there a biz 100K offer? The biz card has never been under 5/24.
All I can find is a biz 75K offer.
Is there a biz card promo? Marriott Biz was not subject to 5/24 but all I see is 75K bonus:
