- Must make first payment by 6/9/21.
- Payment must be made directly with the merchant.
Our Verdict
Showing up for lots of people on multiple cards. Not clear if the ‘new line’ and ‘unlimited’ provisions will be enforced or maybe it’ll end up working for ordinary payments. Let us know if you try. Update: readers in the comments report that it DID NOT work last time for ordinary payments.

Purchase made 7/23 in store for accessories. Received a Chase Offers confirmation email later in the day. As of now, no credit and the this offer shows as expired and not redeemed in the Chase Offers section. Clearly the “new line” coding is needed. About a year or two ago the BofA version worked for accessories, but I purchased them online and had them shipped.
I received a successful redemption email today but not sure whether that’s because I sent a secure message to Chase and they confirmed I qualified for the offer.

I tried it last time this offer was around a few months ago.. tried it on several cards by just making a $50 mobile payment, it DID NOT work.
Previous times when “switch to ATT” was not in the terms, it worked like a charm, so will skip this time round.
Does this work for paying cell phone?
Got this on all 4 of my personal Chase cards. Just paid on my CFU for $48.75 payment to test if it works. I normally charge it to my CIC for 5% cashback.

Tried last time with paying internet bill. It didn’t trigger the offer.
I did this the last time this offer showed up. It never credited. I made a payment to my postpaid AT&T wireless bill. YMMV.
