- Complete five qualifying transactions within 60 days of account opening. Qualifying transactions are:
- Debit card purchases
- Checks paid
- Chase QuickDeposit

The Fine Print
- Offer begins May 1, 2018
- Clients may receive direct mail, email and ads on Chase.com with this offer
- Must open account in-branch
Avoiding Fees
Chase Total Business Checking has no monthly fee when you have a personal Chase Private Client checking account. This is the easiest to keep fee-free.
Chase Performance needs $35,000 in qualifying business deposit accounts to remain fee-free. Chase Platinum needs $100k in qualifying business deposit and business investment balances to remain fee-free. Reports indicate that Chase usually waives the fee for the first couple months.
More details on the various Chase business banking products can be found here.
Our Verdict
We’ve seen $500 Chase business checking bonuses, $750 is terrific, of course it only works for Chase Private Clients. Probably any Chase business checking account will qualify for the bonus, but we don’t know that for certain.
They plan on promoting this through multiple channels to their Private Clients, and it’s quite possible that anyone CPC can ask their banker to get the offer.
There’s also a $300 business checking bonus offer available for everyone, even those who are not Private Clients.
If you go in branch to open this account, it’s also worth asking if you have any pre-approved credit card offers, as these by pass the Chase 5/24 rule (more on these offers here).

When Chase says it needs to be NEW money. Can I transfer the money OUT of chase (to Kabbage on Amex), open the checking account, then transfer kabbage back to that new chase checking?
I have been receiving the mailer lately. I have a INK business card, but I don’t have a tax number. Do I have to go to a branch to apply, or I can apply online ? I read that you have to have a tax ID to be approved when applying online, is this true? Thanks for any insight.
I got a similar mailer this week with no private client language. $750 to open a Business Complete checking, deposit 20k in new money within 30 days, and complete 5 qualifying transactions within 90 days. I currently only have a no-fee business credit card with them (and many personal ones). But when I try do apply through the website, it says sole props have to go do it in person. Boo!
Chase charged me $15 for not maintaining a $2K minimum balance. I opened the account the last week of June and the first statement hit a week later. I started the month with a $1,300 balance and added enough to be way over $2K by July 7. I never thought they would hit me with the $15 fee for being under $2K for the first two weeks of having the account.
Just wanted to post here to say I did get the bonus.
I want to outline for others that “ACH (Credits)” does not include OUTGOING ACHs from the business account, only incoming ones.
Does it matter if it is a push or a pull? I did some pulls and wondering if I am doing it right?
if i got shut down with chase do i decrease the chances of getting shut down for the 3rd time if I have cpc?
wondering
If you’re asking about chances of getting your CCs shutdown after shutdown 2x already, I’ve read on FT that having CPC has no effect on CCs since they are handled by separate departments. There are posts there saying having CPC did not prevent all their CCs from getting closed.
Still only showing $300 offer for me 🙁
Got an email today stating that I qualify for CPC, yet I have nowhere near $250k on deposit with chase. Anyone else get CPC via this route? Any reason to do? Doesn’t seem to have an initial bonus of any sort, but thinking it may open other bonuses in the future.
Do the rules about “one account every two years” apply to this? Because I got this CPC bonus like 6 months ago and closed the account. Would love to get it again!
The one I did 6 mo ago as well had only this fine print: Checking offer is not available to existing Chase business checking clients, local, state or federal Government entities or agencies, Not for Profit organizations, Political Action Committees, or those with fiduciary accounts, campaign accounts, or whose accounts have been closed within 90 days or closed with a negative balance.
Not getting any emails back from direct link, or link from twitter, or reddit. Tried 3 different email addresses. Anyone got this working last couple of days?
