Chase Referrals Now Show 6-Month Expiration

Chase referral links now show a 6-month expiration timeframe once the link is generated.

Just make sure they use this link to apply so you can earn cash back. It will expire after 6 months.

After 6 months the link will expire and you’ll have to generate a new one if the offer still available. Hopefully that also means a guarantee that, going forward, links will always last a full 6 months. No promises on that, however, as Chase can probably still pull these links early.

I first learned about this today from u/coole106, though it may have been there for a few months.

Anyone else unable to refer? I have both versions of the freedom, and neither have the option to send a referral. If I go through the chase website method, and enter my details (last 4 of card # etc), it says I’m unable to refer.

I haven’t abused the referral program – actually have only referred one person using my vanilla freedom (months ago).

How long does it take to get the referral bonus? My friend used my Chase Ink Preferred link two months ago and I still haven’t gotten the bonus. They had to call in to retention, does that mean I won’t get it?

Is there any place that we can post our Chase card referral links? Thanks.

Another FYI, if you try to generate another link, it just gives you the same link again.

So would this mean if I generate a link for a card offering say, $100 referral offer for me and later it goes to $150 but my account would still show $100 for the full 6 months? I hope not but that would make me nervous before generating.
