Chase Refreshes All United Credit Cards

It was rumored that Chase would be refreshing United Business, United Explorer & United Quest Cards. These refreshes are now live and it looks like changes to the United Club cards have also been made. New benefits go into effect for new applicants and existing applicants immediately and increased annual fees will start on renewals from August 1, 2025 (Explorer cardholders will have until January 1, 2026).

Reading the new benefits for the Club Infinite, it says 1500 bonus PQP each year you have the card, starting in 2026. Today I received 1500 PQP listed as “Club Card Bonus PQP”. Mistake?

I also received them. Lots of people reporting 1500 PQP for the Club card and 1000 PQP for the Quest card. https://www.reddit.com/r/unitedairlines/comments/1joee2m/club_card_bonus_pqp/

P2 and I both have a club card since she is a UA FA and we can get into clubs non-reving. Loss of the star alliance lounges is ROUGH. we are IAD based and that’s all the best lounges plus it got you out of the “no priority pass between 2ish pm to 8ish pm” restriction that all the good lounges had.

My last time through IAD there was just a wait for PP access. Now they aren’t allowing it at all in that window (ie before 90% of Europe-bound flights)?
Seriously questioning the value of CSR…

Email from united this afternoon, RIP selling passes on ebay

Starting May 1, 2025, the way you can use one‍-‍time passes will change in a few ways:    • You can enter United Club locations up to 3 hours prior to your United or Star Alliance partner flight’s scheduled departure time (no time limit on connecting flights).
• One‍-‍time passes will be valid only at standard United Club locations, and will no longer grant access to locations like United Club Fly.
• If you received one‍-‍time passes as part of our MileagePlus® co‍-‍brand credit card benefits, these passes can only be redeemed by the primary cardmember, authorized user, or their accompanied guests so long as the primary cardmember or authorized user is present.

I know in practice they didn’t care before, but hasn’t verbiage liked this always existed in the terms of the passes?

Rideshare statement credit at the end of How it works section says “Yearly opt-in required“. Presumably that means calendar year? That’s going to be annoying as a bunch of people will probably forget (myself likely included even if I set a reminder). At least with AMEX its enroll once and you’re done for the life of that credit card (as long its that product anyways).

Just confirming that Uber cash reload seems to trigger rideshare credit. Just wish there was a way to do just $10 reloads. The minimum reload amount is $20. For anyone who hasn’t done so, try to do it immediately to get the march credit as we only have 6 more days before it resets.

where’d you see the $20 minimum amount? Just checked in the Uber app it says $25 minimum to add cash.

25 is the minimum autoselected option, but right above it on my app it says “enter an amount between $20 and $500”

You can manually set it to $20.

Did you try the Uber website? It also works for adding to your Uber Cash balance, and maybe it works a little differently than the app?

I will probably be downgrading to the Gateway with the increased annual fee on the Explorer. Explorer basically pays for itself when you fly domestically and check bags, but on international flights the first checked bag is free anyways.

The United Club passes were always nice to not have to spend on drinks and foods, but the last 4 times I’ve flown out of EWR the lounge wasn’t accepting the passes, so that perk has been fairly useless the past two years. I’m petty sure that sign of “we are not accepting one time passes” is just permanently up based on experiences of friends too.

If you’re looking for a DP, I activated the rideshare credit and purchased $20 Uber cash reload on 3/24. The $12 credit posted on my account today (3/26).

How did you activate the benefit?

Based on another comment below I figured it out. From the main screen on the Chase app click “Benefits & travel” in the lower right. Select your United card in the dropdown at the top. Then scroll down to the “rideshare statement credit” box, click it, then click the Activate button.

Why $12. I see only $8 per month ($12 for December). That’s for Buz United

How do you reload uber cash? My uber app doesnt show me any option of reload. It just shows add gift card option.

Uber -> Account -> Wallet -> Add Funds -> type in 2000 ($20.00) and make sure to select United card. It shows as Uber transaction on Chase side.

It shows in the Uber Eats app in your wallter…so the Uber Reload cash can be used for Uber Eats (but doesn’t expire i guess until Amex)

My Chase United Explorer AF $95 is billed every 12/1, so it should be $95 on 12/1/2025 and $150 on 12/1/2026? If that’s correct, I’m good with that.
