Update 1/15/20: Chase is sending out the free 1-2 year offer via email even to regular Sapphire cardholders, so it seems all Sapphire cards are eligible for this, even the no-fee Sapphire version. (ht ZS and AC)
Update: Preferred also gets two years for free with Chase Freedom/Slate getting three months. I think this likely indicates we will see some sort of additional credit for Reserve cardholders.

Original Post:
Chase Sapphire Reserve cardholders are being offered two years of food delivery service DoorDash’s DashPass for free. After adding a Chase Sapphire Reserve card to your account, you should see this prompt. DashPass provides free delivery on orders from eligible restaurants, although service fees and minimum orders can still also apply. It was rumored that Chase would be adding a dining/delivery benefit to the Sapphire Reserve late last year and DoorDash was the partner I’d heard about.
I hope that this DashPass benefit isn’t the only thing being added as it’s probably of limited use to most cardholders. If the card also came with a $10 monthly credit then that would be a different story. There is undoubtedly less pressure on Chase to improve the Sapphire Reserve after American Express made negative changes to how the $200 airline credit works on the Platinum card.

I got the DashPass subscription for free with my new CSP card. Just signed up for the card last month. It’s now showing up on the CSP benefits page after I sign in.
Good thing to note that you don’t have to pay with the CSP card. I was able to remove the CSP card from my DoorDash completely and my DashPass is still active.
Here’s the doordash link for the CSP with more information: https://www.doordash.com/dashpass-v2/chase/preferred/
I’m not seeing anything about having a Dashpass subscription after new signup. Can someone tell me what I’m doing wrong here? I clicked on the link above to add my CSR card. I don’t see any reference anywhere on my account that I have a dashpass subscription. Even tried updating my card info and still nothing.
I’m stuck overseas until at least June.. is there any way to use the $60 DoorDash credit on the CSR while overseas? Does it work to buy DoorDash gift cards, etc. for future use?
No, per DoC post https://www.doctorofcredit.com/do-doordash-giftcards-trigger-the-chase-sapphire-reserve-60-credit-no/
wow, there’s a post for everything Celia thanks!
by the way, do you know how to “double dip” on the $300 travel credit? Like as soon as the annual fee hits.. then buy a refundable flight.. to get travel credit..I can’t remember if the travel credit credits instantly.. and then product change within 30 days to have the annual fee refunded? Those are the basic instructions I gathered from comments, just wanna ask.
No clue actually. I use my credit on travel purchases, have tolls to fall back on if I can’t use it.
My fallback has been to use it to pay for my commute to work in NYC but that’s not useful these days either.
No to gift cards. It seems that if you activate DashPass and you cancel the card, you lose that benefit too. When you have the CSR DashPass activated on your DoorDash account but don’t checkout using your CSR card, you don’t get any of the DashPass benefits. I wonder if it is the same for Lyft Pink?
If you have your Chase card selected but pay with a DoorDash gift card, you still get the DashPass benefits.
After 2 years, will they charge the DashPass fee to the card?
DP: Got charged $9.99 for dash pass on CSR
parrothead did they credit the charge?
I had to re-enroll in it but yea eventually
For those of you who have CSR but not able to activate DashPass, replacing the card will do the trick.
Years old free Sapphire here and it worked. Excellent. Will definitely shift me to DD after 1 Ubereats a month.
also I got an emais for my freedom and freedom unlimited to get 3 months for free on Doordash.
Anyway to use Cash App card ( 15% off) + DashPass of CSR?
