[Expired] Chase Spend Offers (8/15-10/15): Insurance, Utilities, Transit, Phone, Cable, Internet, Fitness

The Offer

  • Check your emails for an offer on your Chase cards to get $15 back when you spend $100 on select categories.
  • Other people got a slightly different offer for 10% back, up to $15 in these categories.

You can also try this link to see if you are targeted for something.

Eligible categories:

  • Utilities
  • Insurance
  • Fitness clubs and gym memberships
  • Local transit and commuting
  • Phone, cable and internet services

Our Verdict

I haven’t gotten this sent my way, apparently it’s targeted. When these come around, I typically pay my gas or insurance bill. If you got it on more than one card, you can do the spend on each eligible card to get the bonus.

chase is offering $15 on $150 insurance payment. also chase freedom is having 5% on paypal transactions. progressive takes paypal as a form of payment. if the $150 is paid through paypal, will we get the 5% as well as the $15 credit?

Bummer, just spent $100 with my cell provider last week and just activated on the card today. Does anyone know if it’ll retroactively apply to a purchase predating the offer activation?

“To be eligible for this bonus offer, you must activate by 10/15/24 11:59 p.m. E.T. You will qualify for and receive your bonus if you make Purchases with your credit card that total an amount at or above the specified target amount during the promotional period…”

“Purchases posted to your account with a transaction date during the offer period are eligible for this offer”

Terms say nothing about the offer needing to be activated before the purchase is made.

How long is the offer good for? Couldn’t you just pay your next cell phone bill before 10/14?

Is there an easy way to look up targeted chase offers that I’ve already signed up for? I am getting that page to say ‘you have already enrolled in this offer’, but I don’t remember the details/terms and there is no link to anything. Wish I had just taken a screen shot of it.

ran into the exact same issue. Have no way to check what offers I signed up for.

Had this on P1 and P2’s Southwest Priority cards, and on one Hyatt personal card.

Was targeted with this very offer on my Freedom Unlimited.

… receive a $15 statement credit when you spend $150 or more with your Chase Freedom Unlimited® credit card in select bill pay categories between 8/15/24 and 10/15/24.*

My Freedom OG appears to have missed out, so far.

Can the be found on the Chase.com site, or only via direct email offer? I have many cards and did not receive any emails, and I cannot find this on the Chase.com site. It likely is not in the ‘Chase Offers’ section.

I wish it included hosting companies with internet. Not sure what the coding is for these utility companies/internet.

R IME, yes. I have done both gas company and an insurance payment. Just has to be one of the categories and add up to over whatever your offer is.
