[Expired] Chase Spending Offers On Hyatt, United, British Airways, AARP & Ritz-Carlton

Deals have expired, click here to view current Chase offers.

Reposting as offers on Hyatt & United have been added.

The Offers

  • Chase has sent out some targeted spending bonuses on some of their cards:

The Fine Print

  • Valid on spend from April 15th until June 30th, 2018
  • Points are in addition to what you’d normally earn

Our Verdict

I wonder if we will see more offers come out on other Chase cards, I’ll update this post if that’s the case. We already posted on the Ritz-Carlton deal previously as well. All of these offers require quite a lot of spend to trigger, so really on useful if you’re not trying to meet minimum spend requirements.

Chase Hyatt: spend $2k and get 3000 points? Err… or just spend $2k on CFU for the same result and you don’t even have to hit at least $2k

so dumb. all cards are 1:1 bonus except for Hyatt and United. whats up with that? its still 50% worth it i guess. YMMV.

I have the United Explorer card, but I never make a purchase of $2,000 unless I am buying a new car or paying for major auto repairs. I don’t see how I could make use of this offer. And please don’t tell me to go buy a bunch of gift cards. I don’t do that.

Looks like these are offers for putting owed taxes on the cards for people like myself who filed extensions.
I’ll keep putting the tax payments on my SPG card though until they lower the earning rate in August.

What are 4000 AARP points worth, I signed up for that card when I was over 5/24 just for bonus and haven’t used it since

AARP points are worth 1c. I got this offer too. It’s basically 4% on restaurants/gas and 2% back on everyday spending when you hit $4000. I’m getting 5% on Costco gas, 4% at restaurants with the Uber and 2% with the Citi DC so I’m going to pass.

A mere $40. dollars Pat. They sent an offer last year to receive $3. for each month that I spend $500. What a joke 🙂 I like the card itself, but their extra offers bite.

I have Amazon, Hyatt, Freedom, IHG, and Marriott Biz. Hopefully there’s a good one for one of those too.
