Our Verdict
Given that the British Airways card and the Iberia card do not have the Chase 5/24 rule applied, I’d say it’s safe to state that this card will also be excluded from the rule. This is great news, it’ll be nice to have more opportunities to earn the sign up bonus on Chase cards.
Give me a Chase Emirates card and I’ll French kiss the next person I see regardless of sex and gender.
So what i an avios worth? Is this a good card or not? $30k for a companion pass is a high bar. I’m getting 2.6% cashback from a BoA card, but aer lingus is the only international carrier serving my local airport (BDL).
Hopefully Chase will start an Air China Infinite Visa
OK if Chase is bringing out all of these new airline credit cards I’d like to see SQ, EK, EY QR, QF which all have amazing First Class awards.
Hopefully one of these banks will start a Qantas card
Massive avios devaluations coming soon….
That was my first thought as well.
I know you can transfer avios between BA and Iberia, but is Aer Lingus part of this club too or are Aer Lingus avios their own thing? May have to start investing in more avios if you could transfer them all around here.
Seems like Chase send an executive on a Eurotrip

I see one more trap to catch the lol/24’ers and shut them down.

🙁
Why would you need to set a trap? They can already see your lol/24 status…
Hey Will, there is this misconception all over reddit that Chase shuts you down because “if you apply when you’re lol/24, suddenly Chase sees how many cards you have, freaks out, and shuts you down!” They forget that banks soft pull you all the time… and that the department shutting you down is almost certainly the risk department and separate from the new apps department…
completely agree. With that being said, it wont slow me down 🙂
I wonder if we will see a Chase Singapore Airlines Visa Signature? I would like that.
