It’s really nice! GREAT!!!!!
Darn. I’ve only flown Southwest out of SAN, which is all terminal 1.
SAN to LAS, or SAN to SJC. A little over an hour. Always nice.
Initial feedback on this lounge is very positive after the first day open!
I’m waiting for the new terminal one in san diego. it’s so cramped right now
Is entry available to Chase Sapphire Preferred and Reserve holders?
Reserve. Preferred doesn’t grant access to Sapphire lounges
Thanks, fortunately my wife still has her CSR until her AF renews Feb 2025 then we’ll both be CSP.
Ritz Carlton card also grants access to Sapphire lounges with unlimited guests
with the travel statement credit why not keep the csr?
This is close to the United lounge. It’s a nice area of the airport. I fly Alaska more than United now so it’s a bit of a walk to Alaska’s gates but I’ll check it out next time I fly.
Just waiting for the PHL open date.
Link to Chase site in the other article says “Philadelphia International Airport (PHL; opening early 2025”
So will this be margarita or avocado toast? Also can I have yoga mat at lounge please
We need a good lounge at SAN but this is, at Nov 2023, is two years away 🙁
Wow this was three years ago!
Never taken San Diego International Airport; always used LAX instead, but LAX is a nightmare because it is so huge and getting through anywhere is a pain. Looking forward to this lounge. Happy Chase customer and I use the CSR every day.
LAX and SAN are very far apart, and not at all coterminous, especially if you encounter any traffic on the 405 or the 5, which is likely. There are numerous airports in between the two, notably LGB (Long Beach) and SNA (Orange County). I’d recommend one of those instead of choosing to fly out of SAN if you’re coming from Los Angeles or Orange Counties.
