Use Pay Yourself Back feature if you have the Sapphire Preferred/Reserve for better value.
Just a reminder that this is a terrible value for anyone who can use the Pay Yourself Back feature.
For example, a $100 wayfair GC on the UR portal is 9000 points.
If you went to a grocery store and bought a $100 gift card and used the PYB feature to cancel out that purchase, it would only be 6667 points.
Put another way, you could buy a $135 gift card for 9000 points at a grocery store, or buy a $100 gift card for 9000 points at the chase portal.
Which would you choose?
The Apple GC is an even better deal after Apple consolidated it with iTunes cards and balances.
