Much better to use the Pay Yourself Back feature instead or transfer to a travel partner, but this discount might be useful to some. This seems to be a recurring deal with different gift cards.

The verdict is spot-on in this case. You can almost certainly get better value from UR than this sale affords, given most of the brands involved.
