Chase Ultimate Rewards (URs) points can now be transferred to Flying Blue AIR FRANCE KLM, if you hold one of the premium Chase branded cards (Chase Sapphire Preferred, Chase Ink Plus or the discontinued Chase Ink Bold) at a rate of one Chase UR point to one Flying Blue mile. The points transfer instantly and you must transfer a minimum of 1,000 points and in increments of 1,000 points as well (e.g you can’t transfer 1,500 points).
It was already possible to transfer the following flexible currencies to Flying Blue:
- SPG
- Citi ThankYou Points
- American Express Membership Rewards
It’s always nice to see Chase and other flexible point options add more transfer partners to their line up. You can see all of Chase’s transfer partners below:
[table “30” not found /]I’m not terribly excited by the new option as it was already possible to transfer SPG, Citi TYP & AmEx MR to Flying Blue and I find Chase UR to be more value than all of those (apart from SPG). There is some good discussion on /r/churning on value that can be found in the Flying Blue program.
