  • Access to Hyatt Leverage, Hyatt’s global business travel program that offers special rates to qualifying small and mid-sized enterprises at participating Hyatt hotels worldwide

  • No fee for employee business cards
  • Primary rental car collision damage waiver

Our Verdict

This is the same bonus that the card launched with and an all time high (actually not as good as that only required $5,000 total spend). Hopefully it becomes available as a referral bonus as well. Could definitely be worth it for some people, especially as Chase business cards don’t count towards your 5/24 status (you still need to be under 5/24 to get approved though). We will add this to our list of the best credit card bonuses.

The link above only goes to a 60K offer now, however, the 75K offer is still available via a quick Google search.

fyi – one of the most underrated perks of this card for me has been being able to use the Leverage program and has saved us a ton of money on paid stays.

If I was rejected for an ink for velocity, would the same reason apply to this business card?

Hello. Does the consumer Hyatt credit card occasionally receive elevated bonuses? I don’t recall ever seeing an elevated bonus.

Can’t travel too much for the next year due to baby. Otherwise would have jumped on it.

Any reason for this over another ink? Maybe 1-2 elite nights but spread is too much on the 120k CIP. Maybe chase views giving an extra ink more harshly then a cobranded biz?

Wondering the same thing.. An INK would get you 120k points you can transfer and still come out ahead.. In total spend required and total points.. 7k spend for for the 2nd teir bonus of 15k more points seems harsh.

I agree that I dont recommend going for non stop inks like some do. I was cut off from Chase a few years back for doing that. I had to cool down for a few years before they would approve me for anything.

IMHO unless one is going for Globalist *this year* this is about the worst time to apply for the biz card for domestic stays. The card gives Discoverist, this status and Explorist benefit the card holder very little – and if you get to Globalist you’ll have very little time remaining in the year to enjoy the perks of that status.

I want this card, planning international travel in 2025 and that’s when I’d apply. Until then, it’s all about another Ink card and banking future Hyatt bonus points.

I was approved for this card last week and today got an email to join the Hyatt Leverage business program. After joining online – confirm your contact info – I got a corporate code for up to 15% off on bookings. Did a few tests and this rate was better than AAA or their current promotion with code TOUCHDOWN. This helps cover the $99 annual fee as the two $50 statement credits area easy to us during the year.

If I’m reading this right, with this card and the Hyatt personal card you will start the year with 15 qualifying nights.

– 5 nights from the personal card perk
– 10 nights from the business card automatic Discoverist status perk

Any data points to confirm this?
