The Offer

Direct link to offer

  • The Cheesecake Factory is offering two free slices of cheesecake for every $25 gift card purchased on their website or in restaurant. The free slices come in the form of Slice of Joy cards that are each redeemable for a slice of cheesecake from January 1st until March 31st, 2018.

The Fine Print

  • Valid until November 27th

Our Verdict

They frequently offer a deal where you get one free slice, but the two free slice deal is rarer. I know some people go crazy for this deal, so this one is for you.

Just noticed a 1000MR/$50 AmEx offer for Cheesecake factory on one of my cards. This might be a nice way to trigger it in store.

Its an insane deal, a slice of their delicious huge Cheescake is $8.
You buy a $25 gift card and you get two slices for free!

Tips: buy the physical gift card (its easier for the waitress to swipe and redeem then the e-gift which needs some kind of managers approval).

Print out the email with the slice of joy ticket
Kinda like the old stub hub tickets style and bring that paper to the restaurant where they take it and give you a free slice.
(It doesnt work electronically, has to be a print out).

To maximize buy each $25 gift card separately.
You get two slice of joy emails per transaction and not per $25 spent.

Before you buy in bulk think how many times you gonna go to Cheesecake factory between 1/1 and 3/31 and then divide them in two because you can only use one slice of joy per table (not per person or per order), so if you will go 8x buy 4x $25 gift cards and you get 8 slice of joy emails to print out).
Try their Cheesburgers. Its heaven!

The fine print says one eSlice of Joy Card may be redeemed per guest per visit.

“You get two slice of joy emails per transaction and not per $25 spent.”
This is incorrect. I ordered a single $50 GC and got 4 eSlices

“you can only use one slice of joy per table”
This is perhaps true at the table. But, at the cheesecake counter, I never had a limit.

I buy $50 cards as well and get 4 slices of free cheesecake. The terms state “Only one eslice of joy card may be redeemed per guest per visit.” I’ve gone with our family of 4 and we were each able to redeem our free slices at the table.
Might be a good idea to screenshot the offer terms and conditions.
Also, the terms and conditions state that you can get cheesecake or layer cake . I had a waitress tell me last year that it could only be used on cheesecake…my kids don’t like cheesecake and we’ve always previously used the slice of joy for layer cake, but this waitress wouldn’t allow it. This year I’ll have the Terms & Conditions saved on my phone.

I can also verify that last year my wife and I got 2 slices twice at the cheesecake counter. Worst case scenario – 2 separate transactions. It comes out absolutely free! This is my fav holiday dining gift card deal.
Now, should I buy a 2nd one?!

This is NOT accurate information being shared that it is one per table. It is one PER GUEST at the table. If you are told otherwise it is incorrect. The terms clearly state one PER GUEST. I’ve always redeemed multiple per visit on a single table in the past. This would be a very mediocre deal if wer limited to one per table.
