Our Verdict
Normally you can get $5 when using a referral code (person referring you also gets $5). Chowbus agreed to give our readers a bigger sign up bonus of $7 (we receive absolutely nothing as part of this deal. We always ask for no commission and the best possible deal for our readers). Might make sense for one person in your household to use this code and then use their referral code to refer others in your family. Please do not share your referrals below.
Chowbus states that it’s different to other food delivery apps because:
- Authentic: Chowbus partners with restaurants to showcase their most authentic and delicious dishes – the dishes chefs are most proud to share.
- Bundling feature: Customers can order from different restaurants in a single order with no added fees, letting them sample a wider variety of dishes in one meal.Â
- Large delivery radius: Chowbus has one of the largest delivery radii of any food-delivery app, giving customers access to their favorite Asian restaurants and stores, even if they live tens of miles away. Â
- Low delivery fees: $0 delivery fee for selected restaurants or for any restaurant with Chowbus Plus Membership. Exclusive deals and perks also available
- Rewards Program: Customers can redeem loyalty points by ordering from their favorite restaurants and redeem them for rewards. No enrollment is required.
- Customer care: Chowbus offers real-time order tracking and has 24-hour customer care specialists accessible through the app, to help with any questions or concerns.Â

Just a small update – referral offers have increased to $10 now
I am a Chowbus fan for years. For ppl love Asian food, they are THE app!
Thanks for the code. But the website leaves it unusable. If I wouldn’t mind picking up, there is apparently no way to sort any of the many listings that are apparently available for pickup ‘near’ (meaning nowhere near, except in the same city) by location, distance, ect.. And, they apparently don’t want you to know where they are, because to do that, you have to click on every listing seperately to be able to see the address. I make more than $7 for the time that would require.

What did we do to deserve this? 🙂
OH. MY. GOD. This is awesome!!
Can’t believe I didn’t know about it!
Thank you thank you thank you!!
🤗🤗🤗
I have been a member for a while, they offer places that most other apps do not that are super small businesses. Their commission fees are also a lot lower than the big delivery apps. I highly recommend a try (and of course would provide my own $5 off! [removed])
We asked you nicely not to share your codes.
I am in St Louis Area and most of the asian foods restaurants are covered by Chowbus. The reward programs made it stand out from the other platforms. Apparently, the more you use it the more reward dishes you can get from the restaurant.
Also, I think they are offering groceries deliveries which are backed up by themselves in Chicago areas. Plus they just got 33M funding in A round. Their expansion rate is so fast that quicker deliveries are visible in the near future.
I used this app a lot before the Covid and love it, they have this Food Shuttle service that delivers $10-15 meals to almost all offices in downtown Chicago at noon. Nice to see them on doc.
This is fantastic in Chicago. I’ve used it for months.
Chinatown has a ton of restaurants, plus pretty much any asian-owned place like fried chicken. Tous le Jours was on there (Vietnam/ French bakery?) but then recently left. Multi restaurants in one order is crazy and delicious.
Yeah it’s trivial to find $5 referrals. Better to ask your friends so you get $5 + $5 = $10.
FYI, although DC is listed, none of the restaurants are actually in DC. College Park, MD and Rockville, MD only
