- Contains one American Airlines bonus per 24 month language
Our Verdict
Most people will not be eligible due to the following language:
- American Airlines AAdvantage® bonus miles are not available if you have had any Citi® / AAdvantage® card (other than a CitiBusiness® / AAdvantage® card) opened or closed in the past 24 months.
This rule is discussed in more depth here. There is also a 60,000 mile offer that most people will prefer. People are also having success getting matched to 75,000 miles on that offer, I doubt that will be possible with this offer but anything is possible I guess. Personally I’d stick to the 60,000 mile offer as most people will find miles are worth at least 1¢ each and that offer doesn’t require the $100 spent on American Airlines purchases.  Before applying or asking basic questions in the comments make sure you read these things everybody should know about Citi cards here
Offer is gone as well. Link showing offer:
Earn 40,000 American Airlines AAdvantage® bonus miles after spending $2,000 in purchases within the first 3 months of account opening
Plus, new cardmembers can earn up to a $200 statement credit on eligible American Airlines purchases in the first 12 months of account opening**

Yes. Can anyone provide any information about the 75K offer?
Do you have any info. on getting matched to 75,000 miles? I just applied for the 60,000 offer and haven’t heard of a 75,000 offer.
