Citi Dividend 5% Categories For Q2 2025: Grocery, Citi Travel

The Citi Dividend 5% categories have been released for the second quarter of 2025:

  • Grocery
  • Travel booked through Citi Travel

Grocery category is always nice, though it does overlap with Discover. We’ll have to wait another few days to find out what the Chase Freedom categories will be.

Citi is different than the other cards in that you have a $6,000 annual cap rather than a $1,500 quarterly cap. You can get 5% back on up to $6,000 in this quarter, you can save the entire amount for a different quarter, or you can use part up each quarter.

This offer starts within two business days of when you enroll, or April 1, 2025, whichever is later, and ends on June 30, 2025 (the “offer period”). During the offer period, you will earn an additional 4% cash back on hotels, car rentals, and attractions (excluding air travel) when booked through the Citi Travel® site at CitiTravel.com or by calling 1-833-737-1288 (TTY:711) or purchases at Grocery Stores. Your total annual (calendar year) cash back is limited to $300 and includes additional cash back earned in connection with this offer.

Citi Travel Purchases: Excludes air travel purchases. Eligible transactions include hotel, car rental, and attractions only and must be booked through the Citi Travel site at CitiTravel.com or by calling 1-833-737-1288 (TTY:711). Citi Travel is powered by Rocket Travel by Agoda.

Grocery Stores: Includes purchases at supermarkets, meat/seafood stores, dairy stores, bakeries, and miscellaneous food/convenience stores. Excludes purchases at general merchandise/discount superstores; wholesale/warehouse clubs; candy, nut and confectionery stores. Purchases made at online supermarkets or with grocery delivery services also do not qualify if the merchant does not use supermarket merchant category code.

@Shawn I can’t believe Citi hasn’t killed this card yet…..they haven’t taken new apps in years for it.

Thankfully Shiti gonna shiti and they keep this card alive. I can only imagine that cardholders maximize every dollar. This card has to be a money loser.

only for old timers like me. Still have 2 and only used when a good category comes up. There was a time I never used it for years! I had these cards from 2014. Also 1 of my Div cards has the 4% S&S offer. Sweet.
