Citi has released the 5% categories on their Dividend card for the first quarter of 2021, January through March:
- Amazon
- Select streaming services
- Amazon Prime Video, Amazon Music, Apple Music, CBS All Access, Disney+, AT&T TV NOW, ESPN+, fuboTV, HBO Max, NBA League Pass, Netflix, Pandora, Showtime, Sling TV, Spotify, Starz, SiriusXM, Vudu, YouTube Red, YouTube TV, and Tidal.
Fairly weak selection as lots of people already have cards that earn at high rates on these categories. The upside to the Citi Dividend there’s no quarterly $1,500 limit, it’s just an annual $300 cashback limit, so you can spend a full $6,000 in a single quarter on the 5% category and get $300 back. Last year we did get supermarkets in Q1 and drugstores in Q2, fingers crossed we get better categories next quarter.
if i use citi dividend on amazon pay for something, will i still get the 5% quarterly rewards for it?
The link on Citi to sign up for the quarter just takes me to a generic offers page, without the link.
Can you still product-change to the dividend? Rumous have been circulating around for months you can’t.
I tried and failed three months ago.
I wish I gotten this card instead of the fairly useless Citi Thank You Preferred.
Died years ago.
I just tried again last week, still no luck.
The CSR informed me the Double Cash (which replaced it) is “a better option anyway”. I held my tongue.
Costco will get you 4% gas.
Rewards+ can be useful, depending on your Citi portfolio.
A single copy of the no-AF AA card is worth having.
Multiple Double Cashes are worse than useless, but a single one is okay.
Hey Citi, I am not gonna chip in for Costco’s transaction fees. You got into this hot chocolate
Credit to FM, you can double up on the Q4 2020 category. https://frequentmiler.com/bet-you-didnt-know-doubling-the-citi-dividend-5-4th-quarter-bonus-categories/
To save people some time, it just says that purchases in December after your December statement count against the next year’s $300 limit instead of the current year.
I think there’s an error in the title?
Horrible.
The title is incorrect
Title is wrong… should be Amazon.com
