I used an amex offer of aliexpress, charge shows up as alibaba, and didn’t receive the offer credit.

Have been seeing this for on my citicard many times.
The problem is it says alibaba.com which is their B2B site.
The consumer site is aliexpress.com. whether aliexpress orders will qualify for the Citi cashback I don’t know
Yea, since the offer shows up for Citi personal cards, it should have advertised AliExpress if that works? Too confusing and $100 is no trivial for just trying it out.
