Scenario..P1 does not have a premier card, Can P1 transfer TY points to a P2 (not an auth user)? Then since P2 has premier can receive transferred TY points to then transfer to premier transfer partners?

Anyone have recent experience reallocating unused credit limits with Citi? I saw some conflicting information on another page about whether that’s even allowed. Back in 2014 I opened a DC, and it looks like they only let me move 5k from of my 15k Dividend.

Can the “limited time” for the 25K points be different from the other “limited time” mentioned in the description? – i.e., “… limited time offer to earn 5 total ThankYou Points per $1 spent on hotel and car rentals booked on the Citi Travel portal through June 30, 2024.”

instantly denied. Got approved on the Citi Premier last month though. Is it worth it to call for a reconsideration?

the call for reconsideration is useless.

I’d like to verify with experts on Citi and those who have had experience with Citi Reward+

How Do you Get the 10% Redemption Bonus that is specific to the Reward+ card on the points earned from Custom Cash Card ?!!
Can you also get the 10% redemption bonus from the points on Citi Double Cash Card when redeeming if you only have the Reward+ card and the Double Cash cards only ?!!

Those two cards combo scenarios; Reward + & Custom Cash cards or Reward+ & Double Cash cards
Considering you don’t have the Citi Premier Card or the Prestige card along with the reward +
Then do you still get the 10% bonus without having Premier or Prestige cards and with only the other two above cards combo when redeeming the Thank you points ?!!

Yes. The critical step is you must first combine your TY point accounts for your DoubleCash and Rewards+. Then the site will treat it all as a single account, and you are able to redeem all your TYP for direct deposit (or statement credit). After you redeem, you will get an email a couple days later saying 10% of the redemption will be credited to you on your next statement.

This is a fee-free way to get 2.2% straight cash back on all purchases, which is the best you can do without $100k in assets with BoA.

Do you have to wait 2 years to apply for this card if you had the lower tear for it? I forget… I have like 4 citi cards, but just trying to keep it at a low since bonus will start pouring in the summer.

Finally got approved for a Citi card in what seems like forever. Applied while i was 3/24 and had about 5 to 7k of debt in a couple other credit cards.

This is one of the better ones IMO. Sucks how cash redemption is only half, so I’ll most likely grab some Gift Cards to my choosing.

Al below is right. If you only have this card, you can only cash out TYP at half value. Points aren’t valuable unless you have another Citi card and the roundup is worth a lot less than you think.
Good thing about this card (maybe) is the 2 year extended warranty. Citi doesn’t publicly advertise it but Rewards+ still might have it. I can confirm mine still has it and there are datapoints from 2022 that suggest people who opened one then also have the benefit. Very nice policy for electronics purchases.

The interesting thing on the Citi own Website when you search different cards to choose or to apply for, it shows that the Reward + Card has more than three thousands +reviews but their most widely used and nationally famous and well-known Double Cash card has only 28 reviews !!!
Can anyone imagine that ?!!
Talking about desperation , Seems CITI is completely desperate wanting to promote this card by truly a false representation!
