For those redeeming Apple gift cards into your icloud account balance WARNING. I found money missing after loading these gift cards onto the account.
It looks like Apple redeemed $1 for my icloud 50gb plan from the total gift card reload. It’s impossible to view the “activity” papertrail on an apple website but I took screenshots from my Macbook iTunes account that I had XXX balance in my account; then after reloading $300 in gift cards I was only credited $299.
I escalated this to apple and they said they would call me tomorrow. beware of this – my icloud renewal is on July 17 and I had already paid my $1 on June 17 – so reload I did today should have never redeemed any subscription from total to be credited.
I hate that it’s impossible to track my Apple balance!
I got the email and it says expiring today. Wondering if it will be 20% starting tmw or on July 4th. Does anybody know from the past?
Citi normally does 10% off gift card redemptions, occasionally 15% like this. 20% is much rarer and probably just a few brands.
Yeah I think the 20% is usually just cyber Monday, at least on the bigger brands like Apple. This could be the one time though, never know.

Just to document this here for future, on July 1 the offer for Apple and others for 15% didn’t increase, it ended. Only the following brands were on sale on 7/1, and for only 10% off:
Dominos, Fanatics, Fandango, XBox, Good Giving Card, Jiffy Lube, MGM, Sears, VUDI
I was wondering the same thing. Last Black Friday there was 15% promo and then they did 20% on Cyber Monday.
