Citi ThankYou Points 10% Off Apple & More Giftcards

The Offer

  • Citi is offering 10% off the following gift cards until 11/11: Apple, Chipotle, McDonald’s, Nordstrom, Barnes and Noble, Doordash, Fandango, Instacart, Kohl’s, Uber, Red Robin, One4all Ultimate, One4all Happy Holidays, MGM Resorts

Our Verdict

Normally on Black Friday this is increased to 15% and then 20% on Cyber Monday. I’m really not sure why Citi does this as surely it just pisses off their customers. In any case just wait for Cyber Monday if you want to do this deal.

Your assessment that “Normally on Black Friday this is increased to 15% and then 20% on Cyber Monday” is not exactly correct.

While they did increase the offer to 15% and 20%, those offers were limted to only 10 to 12 gift cards and did not include the One4All Ultimate gift card which can actually be used for over 100 different gift cards.

So for example, if someone wants a Wayfair gift card, you will not get 15 or 20% off on Black Friday or Cyber Monday, but you can get 10% off now by purchasing the One4All Ultimate gift card.

This is a good point and one I didn’t realize when I commented about this. I always think Apple is what most people want out of this offer but you are correct, those others aren’t usually included.

The 10% last year at the beginning of November only included One4All Fun & Fabulous and Red Robin. So the cards that are on sale this year are different than last year.

Even so, I have never seen Citi put the One4All Ultimate on sale at 20% off.
